It’s Women’s History Month, which means I’ll be doing some fun shows on that theme in and around NYC that are open to the public.

Award-winning radio broadcaster Bob Sherman, longtime host of NYC’s popular folk show “Woody’s Children”, informed me that he’ll be playing two of my songs on his show this Sunday, March 8.  The show can be heard on WFUV-FM (90.7). It airs in New York between 4 and 5 pm, streams live, and usually is archived for a couple of weeks at wfuv.org. Thanks Bob!

My upcoming public shows towards the end of March are:

Sat. March 28, 3015 – Folk 2 Funk Festival, Long Beach, NY  1 pm & 7 pm

It features a lot of trad folk and blues music on guitar and banjo;  perhaps I’ll throw in a Jewish song or two.
They hold a morning service starting at 10:30. If you’re curious to sample their humanistic style of Judaism, you are invited to come for the service, stay for brunch and the concert!  Free admission, donations accepted.

Other news:
Work on my CD is continuing, and the budget is being  depleted sooner than anticipated.  I was on Facebook the other day and was musing about how my 1000+ friends, if they each sent me $5, could help finance the end of the project. I put it out there as a throwaway idea….. and was delighted by the encouraging responses I got from folks who urged me to do a crowdfunding campaign of some sort.  So I think I will visit that and reach out to my fan and friend base.  Stay tuned.

Just a reminder that I have two CDs of trad. Anglo-American songs about women in my series “Images of Women.”  They are available for sale from my website and CDBaby.  Individual tracks and the digital CD are available to download for purchase at iTunes, etc.  Songs can be streamed at Spotify, Amazon, and about a dozen other streaming services.  I would upload a couple of shots of the CD covers, but Mailchimp is not cooperating..(Technology – argh!) so please just go visit the link underlined above!

Feel free to follow my exploits on Facebook and Twitter (and of course, it’s free!)

As always, thanks for your continued interest in my music.
